Musician and facilitator Brian Tate presents an exciting and challenging workshop designed for you to:
- discover the power of your authentic voice through song
- expand your confidence and creativity
- connect and communicate powerfully with others

Learn practical techniques toward developing the maximum potential of your voice in a safe environment. You need not have any singing experience to do this workshop! Participants of all levels have experienced dramatic results.

OBJECTIVES:

to learn powerful, clear, and effective methods of speaking, presenting, and leading.

to enhance communication skills through the development of projection, inflection, gesture, and body language.

to better understand how your speaking voice is connected to who you are, what you believe, and what you have to say.

to discover your authentic voice and bring forward your personality and point of view

to be stimulated and inspired, and learn how to stimulate and inspire others

to expand your capacity for deep listening

to move through personal and professional obstacles

to take any topic and make it uniquely yours

BRIAN TATE is a vocalist, coach, pianist, and composer/arranger. He has coached singers of all levels in all styles of music. Brian is music director of Vancouver's multifaith Universal Gospel Choir and teaches singing at Langara College's Studio 58 theatre school. He is also on the faculty of Leadership Development at the Banff Centre. Brian is currently performing a solo project entitled "Head Full of Voices" and also performs with his band, the Brian Tate Quartet.
